Chook and Sosig - Walk the Plank Now Available!
TookiPalooki is an artist turned solo indie developer, and the creator of Chook & Sosig. She’s been teaching herself how to make games using the characters; one is a former child star (and also a gangly blue cat), and the other is a seemingly perpetually unmotivated chicken, who also happens to be a ghost. Along with their friends, they’ve starred in a series of short adventures, but now it’s time for their biggest one yet.
Now available for PC and Mac on Steam, GOG, Kartridge, and itch.io, Chook & Sosig: Walk the Plank is an entirely hand-drawn and animated, cozy and comedic, point-and-click adventure about treasure, friends, and really angry parrots. In Chook & Sosig: Walk the Plank, players control the titular blue cat Sosig as they their friends for an evening of tabletop fun, DM’ed by the long-suffering Exley. It’s Sosig’s first time playing, and they’ll need more than just a little help from Chook if they want to navigate the weird waters in the pirated-themed adventure they set out on.
Bouncing from table-side to the world of Exley’s game, players will solve puzzles, explore a series of scattered islands, and contend with the egos, aspirations, and chaotic whims of their friends. It’s a lively cartoon world with two different endings to unlock, and places an emphasis on humor and lighthearted shenanigans.
